As close to satisfaction as I'll ever get

A rose~

I have not put in the lovely quote. Not sure if I ever will myself. Tis a lovely quote, though. So if I never add it to this lovely image, I will share the lovely quote later on.

As you can tell, this rose has been a phycological horror for me. I don't like how it looks, I will never like how it looks, and it will scorn me every time I happen to gaze upon it.

Dramatics aside, I have no idea what's up with the pattern in the background. I was going for one of those Victorian foliage patterns. The quickest way to make one of those is to just draw in random directions at random intervals. It's like an ink spot test! What do you see?

Will this be approved? If it is, will it sell?! I hope so...

  1. Marvelous job, as always. I'm particularly fond of the shadowing on the rose, and how the rose and background contrast nicely.

Ooooh, ink spot tests are fun! I see a warthog skull with a mustache. What does that say about me?

  2. I see a moose with 2 heads waving with its tentacles. So you might be the saner one.
