It has begun!
Ahhh don't look. So embarrassing how messy my strokes are. It's been 3 years since I have worked with oils. I made such a mess. Look at those lips. They are way too huge. Boo hoo...
Anyway...I think this is pretty good progress for one day. I have to admit, this looks like something they would sell at Urban Outfitters. The whole messy-unfinished indie stuff is pretty in right now. Don't worry, my children! I shall finish this (in an orderly non-pseudo-indie way!).
Uh-oh! It's looking like me. I said that I wouldn't turn this into a self portrait, but my mother hinted that I should. It will be something left behind after I move anyway, so why not?
